Whether you’re a fan of the classic Hamptons look or prefer a modern twist, we’ve got you covered with these two gorgeous bathroom schemes.

Laid-back, luxurious and inviting – a Hamptons bathroom will never go out of style. And it’s wonderfully versatile too; with just a few tweaks, it sits just as comfortably within a classic or modern home design.

We’ve created 11 unique bathroom vignettes in our Spectra Showroom, so when you come along for your colour selection appointment, you’ll get to see a huge range of products and finishes on display. Among them are these two spectacular Hamptons-style bathrooms – one classic and the other more contemporary, but both sharing the Hamptons hallmarks of soft, neutral colours, Laminex FormWrap cabinet doors, and touches of texture.

Here's how you can bring these two looks to life in your own home.

For a classic Hamptons look, try a (1) Caesarstone Arabetto benchtop, (2) Fienza Parisa Semi-inset basin in White Gloss and (3) Phoenix Nostalgia Basin Mixer Gooseneck in Chrome.

1. A classic Hamptons bathroom

Can’t get past classic Hamptons? Here are the key ingredients for creating a look you’ll love, as seen in our Spectra Showroom.

Shaker cabinetry with a marble top

A classic Hamptons bathroom starts with shaker-style cabinetry. Here, we’ve used Laminex FormWrap Settler profile in Oyster Grey with a Super Matte finish to create a seamless, soft-touch finish.

Add a luxe feel by topping it with a marble-effect benchtop – we’ve chosen Caesarstone Arabetto with its beautiful, intricate grey veining against a crisp, white background.

Soft neutral tones

Gentle neutrals and coastal tones like white, pale grey, soft blue and sage are hallmarks of the classic Hamptons style. They will create an elevated beachy vibe in your bathroom and make the space feel open and inviting. Introduce a natural element with timber-look flooring in a water-resistant finish.

Want a luxurious but easy-to-maintain bathroom? Try running marble-look tiles such as the Beaumont Tiles Bora Marble Grey Polished tiles throughout your space.

Marble-look wall tiles

Add a bit of luxury by running marble-look tiles from floor to ceiling, such as these Beaumont Tiles Bora Marble Grey Polished tiles. Choosing a large-format style minimises cleaning and conveys a timeless sense of opulence.

Curved fixtures

Soften the look by opting for basins with gently curved lines. We’ve chosen the Fienza Parisa Semi-inset basin in White Gloss.

Decorative tapware

Ornate tapware in classic chrome is a defining feature of Hamptons bathroom style.  Here, we’ve chosen an elegant benchtop-mounted gooseneck tap (Phoenix Nostalgia Basin Mixer Gooseneck in Chrome) to emphasise the traditional feel.

Lashings of light

A wide mirror and generous glazing will fill your Hamptons bathroom with natural light, making it feel bigger and brighter.

Add the (1) Aksel 1 Light Wall Bracket in Brass/Clear, (2) Phoenix Vivid Slimline Wall Basin Mixer Set Curved in Brushed Gold and (3) Remer Gatsby D LED Mirror to create a modern Hamptons bathroom.

2. A modern Hamptons bathroom

Love the Hamptons look but searching for something a little more contemporary? Plenty of texture and touches of brushed gold will be sure hit the spot. Here’s how it’s done.

A floating vanity

Elevating your vanity off the ground will maximise floor space, making your bathroom feel more spacious, while adding a modern edge.

Wide V-groove cabinetry

Make your vanity the star of the show with wide, V-groove panelling – we’ve used Laminex FormWrap Country V profile in Ghostgum with a Satin finish. Add an oversized, statement handle, such as this Hafele 106.69.502 knob in Brushed Gold.

Rather than going the traditional marble route, opt instead for a thick-edge benchtop in crisp white, cream or a concrete effect, such as the Caesarstone Cloudburst Concrete. Install it with a shadow edge for an added hit of texture and interest.

Neutrals with a touch of luxe

Tap into timeless Hamptons vibes with a palette consisting of gentle neutrals, such as white, grey or dusty blue, elevated with touches of brushed gold tapware and lighting. Or, for a bolder look, add matt black fixtures.

For instant wow-factor, add a wall of slim finger mosaics behind your vanity, such as these Beaumont Tiles Mini Stack White Edge Mosaic Gloss tiles.

Textured tiles

A wall of slim finger mosaics behind your vanity, such as these Beaumont Tiles Mini Stack White Edge Mosaic Gloss tiles, adds instant wow-factor to the scheme. Create an on-trend layered effect by choosing a wall tile colour that harmonises with your cabinetry and benchtop.

For the floor, add a little contrast. Here, we’ve chosen large-format, marble-effect floor tiles, but concrete-effect tiles can be just as impactful.

 An LED smart mirror

Bypass a traditional bathroom mirror and instead choose an LED smart mirror, such as this Remer LED mirror. Choosing an eye-catching shape, such as oval, arched or round, instantly draws the eye and adds softness to your scheme.

Minimalist tapware

Sleek, minimalist tapware in a finish like brushed gold or brass adds to the luxe, contemporary feel. A wall-mounted style will help keep your benchtop clear and uncluttered. Here, we’ve chosen Phoenix Vivid Slimline Wall Basin Mixer Set Curved in Brushed Gold.

A rectangular basin

Contrast the curves in your mirror and tapware with a chic, rectangular basin, such as this Fienza Kados Cast Stone Semi-inset basin in White Matte.

Contemporary lighting

Complete the look with a pair of simple, yet dramatic spherical wall lights in brushed brass on either side of your mirror, like these Aksel 1 wall lights from Beacon Lighting.
